Randall Wynell Walker, of Lake Village, AR, was born on December 12, 1987, at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village, AR to Robert Charles Walker and Sharon Shaevon Wallace Walker. He entered his new life on December 12, 2022, at CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, AR. As a child, Randall enjoyed spending time with family, having Max (his massive Rottweiler) chase his cousins, and playing Operation which undoubtedly led to his love of medicine. Randall graduated from Lakeside High School as the valedictorian of the Class of 2006. He then pursued his postsecondary education at the University of Arkansas of Pine Bluff where he served as SGA President for the Class of 2010. Randall was an advocate for the STEM Program and recruited many students from Lakeside High School to attend UAPB and join the program. Randall was inducted into the Honors College at UAPB in the spring of 2007. In addition to that, Randall was a Thurgood Marshall Scholar. Randall graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in the spring of 2010. Randall received his Doctor of Medicine and his Master of Public Health from the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in the spring of 2015. In the fall of 2015, Randall became a recharter member of the Eta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Dr. Walker was a Professor of Biology at Shorter College and later at the University of Arkansas at Monticello until his departure. Dr. Walker accepted Christ at a young age and further grew into the knowledge of Christ under the leadership of his father, Rev. Robert Walker. It is true that Dr. Walker never met a stranger at any stage of his life. He was a mentor and motivator to many people. No matter how difficult the task, he was one you could always count on. Randall is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Joe and Versie Wallace, and his paternal grandparents; Silas Cotton and Rosa Royal. Randall is survived by his parents; Robert (Sharon) Walker of Lake Village, AR; and Godparents; Mike (Katie) Washington of Richmond Virginia. He is also survived by two brothers; Sheldon Walker of Little Rock, AR, and Ryan (Alisha) Walker of Conway, AR; one Goddaughter; Carmen Haney of Forth Worth Texas; three God sisters, Marila Haney of Lake Village, AR, Eryn & Eriel Carter of Little Rock, AR, one Godbrother; James Majors of Sacramento California, four nephews; Desmond, Sheldon, Dontrio, Lesily and three nieces; Jada, Ariah (My Rubo), and Aria (My Little Baby) his sidekick/ his little bit that would always come home, go straight to his room, and get in bed with him. He is also survived by two very special friends and caregivers, Dr. Martha Flowers, and Dr. Nana Adamu, and a special nurse that was always there when he needed help with medical studies (Aunt Kim). Lastly, he is survived by a host of special cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, mentees, and mentors that are immeasurable.
