Earnest L. Petty, 88, of Eudora passed away on December 26, 2022. He was born on June 5, 1934, in Transylvania, LA to his parents, Ivy Petty and Gladys Martar. Earnest was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Fresno, CA, and a member of the Church Of God Church. He worked as a reconstruction engineer.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dotty Matthews Petty, and one grandchild, Justin Petty.
Earnest is survived by one son, Danny Petty (Julie) of Lake Providence, LA; one daughter, Susan Petty (Ricky) of Ocala, Fl; two grandchildren, Bennirus Petty (Nicole), and Dotsie Petty; 5 great grandchildren, Hayden, Noah, Harper, Daisie, and Colten.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27th from 5-7 P.M. at Bishop-King Funeral Home.
Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, December 28th at 2:00 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Bro. Casey Sorrels officiating.
